By accessing or using the VeilMesh application and network, provided by Bison Tech Solutions Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service.

1. Description of Service and Age Restrictions

VeilMesh is an offline-capable, decentralized mesh networking and messaging application. You must be at least 13 years old to use this service. By using the app, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

2. User-Generated Content and Zero Tolerance

As a social networking platform, we strictly enforce rules regarding User-Generated Content (UGC). You agree that you will not use VeilMesh to:

Transmit illegal, explicit, or highly offensive material.
Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
Distribute malware, spam, or engage in malicious network activity.

We have a zero-tolerance policy. Any violation of these rules will result in an immediate and permanent ban. We reserve the right to block device access at the server level via Firebase App Check if abuse is detected.

3. Intellectual Property

The VeilMesh application, including its source code, design, logos, and trademarks, is the exclusive property of Bison Tech Solutions Inc. We grant you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the application for personal, non-commercial communication. You retain all rights to the content (messages, photos, media) you transmit through the network.

4. Network Fair Use and Limitations

Because of our decentralized architecture, delivery of messages via the offline mesh is provided on a "best-effort" basis and is not guaranteed. To ensure stability, we enforce fair use limitations:

We reserve the right to rate-limit connections (e.g., restricting concurrent WebSocket connections).
Payload sizes are restricted to a maximum of 10MB per file chunk.
Automated botting or attempting to DDoS the relay infrastructure is strictly prohibited.

5. As Is Basis and Limitation of Liability

The VeilMesh software and network are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. In no event shall Bison Tech Solutions Inc. or its developers be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from your use of the network, including data loss resulting from device failure or lost cryptographic keys. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, USA.
